Subject: New MX Case steering

Flandreau, SD
I took a light bar out to a customer to demo. He was spraying and I jumped in with him and rode a few and showed him how to run it.

I run a self propelled sprayer for custom app. and we were going down rows and he was fighting the tractor BAD! He was moveing the wheel like 1/4 turn each way from center the whole time. He said that was no to bad of feild.

I thought I had to steer mine but man that thing would be down the road in a hurry. Are all the case tractors that hard to hold on the row. I have not done row work in a while with a wheeled tractor ( I have a Cat MT) but I dont remember having to fight it like that.

We where running a new MX 275 traveling about 9.5 mph with a pull type Fast 90 Foot.

Would putting all wheels at 120 inches help with the steering effort?

Who has one and is it that bad?
