Grand Rapids, MI | I would also recommend you check out Mapshots EASi Suite. I left SST a number of years ago in favor of this product and have been very pleased. Check out their forum, there have been some videos posted on their showing where they are going with updating their software, it looks like it is poised to take a real leap ahead.
I think SST has some of the best software with their Toolbox program from a GIS perspective, but when I left they did not have the tools in the software to do real volume production work unless you wanted to spend >$100,000. For creating management zones alone, I think SST's program would be more convienient, and if you are going to do 5,000+ acres of this per year, it may be worth thinking about their cost. But if these management zones are just part of what you do, and you want a great all around package with some of the best production recordkeeping abilities definately check out the EASi Suite program.
