Subject: Re: Autopilot in 2wd Jd question

Using the differential lock when driving in straight track mode is a help, but it is a hinderance in curve track mode. Currently deere does not offer autotrac in 2wd models. Most times you will see some form of diminished results, but that really comes down to your expectations. If you have a lot of load on the rear and no front weights, the front end will skate around on you. If it's properly ballasted, you can get it to work. It also depends again on terrain, soil type, and tracking mode. I won't say it can't be done, but it can have it's quirks.
