East Central Alberta | I think you are expecting an awful lot of WAAS correction on the outback. We used outback with WAAS four years ago and that is just part of life,(shifting the line quite often). Then tried a JD receiver running SF2 and instantly saw much better results. We never shift (99.5% of the time).Bin very happy the last 4years with autosteer on tractors, combines, swather(accutrak),and sprayer. The longer you autosteer, the more accurate you want it and the simpler you want it.(Just get in and drive,no messing with settings)
eg On our drills 57ft flexi's we set width to 57.4ft and never shift. 30 ft straightcut header set at 29.5ft and never missed a head of wheat.(no shift) But it has been quite pricey to get to this point.(worth every penny) | |
