On tractors with IVT the IMS only memorizes the magnitude of speed change, not the duration over which the change takes place or if the rate of acceleration or decceleration is constant. That alone screws up the entire hydraulic sequence because the tractor isn't in the correct place at the correct time.
IMS on Deere tractors?
