Subject: RE: JD 1760NT Planter

Yes we have 1760nt 8 x30 planter. We really like ours have had it since first year they came out now.Ours is vacuum with pneumatic down pressure .Set up liquid fert single disc openers with yetter rowcleaners and coulters with rubber closing wheels also have kentons on it. The 150 gallon tanks are max for this planter we run 20 gal acre so about every other time we add seed then so works out fine for us. The markers work fine in no till being sod or what ever.We pull ours with 8670 New Holland. We have like 2500 acres on ours now needs rebladed next season. When we bought ours its was between 1760 and the kinze both was about same price but the fert openers are better on JD i felt and wasnt sold on finger pickup This planter is great moving down the highway not as wide as tractor with duals. One down fall the jack is way to light for planter almost impossible to unhook if anything in tanks. Our planter has two air bags for each row love the system turn pump on and change air if what more pressure nothing to break or wear out. I also feel the rows dont bounce as bad as springs do on rough ground.
