Subject: Tips for engine swap 4230 tractor

Davenport Washington
I have a 1973 4230 that needs an engine it has the 404 non turbo engine. I want to swap a 404 turbo out of a combine I have that runs great. I have a couple of questions, can I use a radiator from a 4430, the radiator needs replaced anyway? If I can use the 4430 radiator the I could use the air box and piping from the 4430 to make everything pretty simple.

I know I need to change the oil pan and would need to change the thermostat housing, and going to replace the water pump as well.

I am looking for advice or tips from those who have done this before. TIA
