Sunburst Montana | The new FC slim jim was tested by a farmer near me last couple of years. Said it worked pretty good and should increase FC's market share. Went to a local JD seeding clinic this spring. The guy putting it on was one of the original developers of the JD 50-90 series openers. He told us JD was working on something similar to the Seed Hawk and asked our thoughts about it. Told him straight up the last thing I want is 90 hydraulic cylinders to worry about and I would never by one whether it said JD or not. Plus I don't see any steel packer wheel options on the Seed Hawk which is a must in our soil and conditions.
