Subject: Re: Reinke Pivot

North Central Kansas
To Answer some questions.
Yes first time buyer
Dealer support. They are all about the same distance
In my area. Newest one...Reinke, Valley (3...same owner with lots of $$$$)
Water source...Electric well
This unit would be going 7/12 of a full circle, with 7 spans for a total of 1,392 feet
Preference of one over the other....no I don't know a thing really about any of them other then what you all tell me and what my neighbor(s) have said
Tree line...yes This fields border on the east side is a creek, thus the pivot will end on the creek, take its rotation, and end on the other half of the creek
Crop rotation....corn to beans, to milo to? perhaps double crop wheat in there sometime
I have sent an email to both Reinke and Valley. I guess we will see who responds first .
I will keep this updated.
I aksed because I want to know. It seems a mixed bag of answers. So far I get Reinke is built lighter thus, not as deep tracks, compared to Valley. And that Valley prob has a better gear box.
