The Gleaner R52 is one of the simplest machines out there. I have an R50 and really love it. We have run a 16' head in 120 bushel wheat and it handles it fine making a very clean sample. To me, the Gleaner is easier to work on than the red machines. Gleaner parts also aren't usually too specialized and if you have a salvage yard close by, that would make my mind up instantly. We don't have a Gleaner salvage yard or dealer within 500 miles and I make my R50 harvest around 600 acres a year. If you have any questions, ask away.
