| Very good point. Another problem could be a bad ground somewhere. A few years ago I turned on the lights in my barn and they came on noticeably dim. I went to another room and turned on those lights and they were dimmer yet plus the ones in the first room also got dimmer. I called the local electrician and he immediately said "you have a bad ground". He came out right away which surprised me, but he said it could be a fire hazard. Sure enough, he found a poor ground wire connection between the entrance head and the box. Some people bitch about how much electricians charge, but I don't mind paying the bill if the guy knows what he's doing. | |
