| I posted this on the agonline site, but I thought I might get a different point of view (or yelled at for being stupid;). Anyway, 3 years ago we bought a really rough versatile 150 for $7500 (cheapest I had seen - was used at a fertilizer plant). I liked the easy to use loader, pto, 3 point, and 4wd at a reasonable price. It turned out to be a great tractor, but the fertilizer froze the 3 point and any cable not being used regularily, so I didn't get to use it in every task I planned for it. However, we liked it well enough that we are looking at a nicer 256 (not much more tractor than a 150, but everything works) and the dealer has offered $3500 for our 150 in trade. I realize the old 150 is not pretty, but is this a little low for one of these that runs ok? I have to add that just yesterday it developed a noise in the front end after I let a friend use it (I'm sure he did nothing wrong, but it's a Murphy's law thing), so it's not gaining in value. It seems like the dealer is being fair, but I want to make sure I'm not missing anything (like $2000).
Thanks in advance,
