Sure looks like you could benefit from some guidance and boom control. Nice article in Farm Futures this month about paybacks. You might want to look at FarmWorks Sitemate/Guidemate. The vs 11 had guidelines one could save, and toggled between coverage map - with some guidance and just guidance. Also logged path and boundaries, and exports to shape files or mifs. Coverage maps are valuable in the field to see skips and to a lesser degree overlaps.

Thought I had a couple screenshots of Sitemate online, but alas, I can not find them. However, here is link to some NDVI data collected with Sitemate VRA. If not hooked to a transducer, it just logs points, or lines or polygons (all one color).
