Subject: Re: Speed of an Irrigation Pivot

Dutch, One pivot is little short because of some RR tracks but the other two are 1/4 systems, there are three different pivots a Valley, Renike, and a Lockwood, the Renike is only 5 years old and has high speed gearboxes and big tires on the end 3 towers to help it walk through a low spot in the field without getting stuck that pivot on 100% will make a swing in just a little over 12 hrs but really have no idea on the other two all of these systems are nozzled for about 850 gpm and the wells put out between 800-900 depending on how long they have been running the start to slow up a little if you pump them hard for a long time right now they are all hitting 900 pretty easily.
