Itta Bena Mississippi | Governor Humphries (Civil War era, landlord's GGgrandfather) is buried here. Greenwood radial/VOR/ColumbusAFB TACAN is square in the middle. Ode to Billy Joe had several scenes shot here and the cast and crew of "The Chamber" was camped at the gin. Also was the home to the infamous "Three Forks Store" where Robert Johnson was poisoned. He's said to be buried at the church across from the gin, but 3 other local churches claim that also.
