UC Davis does all their tissue testing in-house. When I asked about the accuracy of results from commercial labs, the reply was evasive. I had a problem with hard to accept results and a UC Davis extension agent went to bat for me. Without him, the arrogant PhD at the lab would never have checked and found out that they were doing the tests wrong.
I switched to A & L Labs after that and think that was a good move.
Are all labs that do tissue testing the same?
