This seems to have been a great year to try no-til beans. We planted 40 acres notil next to a conventionally tilled field and there doesn't appear to be any difference (emergence, population, etc). Also, there were less big weeds to deal with in my notil this year - mostly grass which was killed by a pint of r/up pretty easily.
