How do the rest of the numbers compare? Does the CEC look consistent? Do the P & K levels look within reasonable range? From what I see, P - in particular - should not change significantly from year to year. If other numbers seem bizarre, I would definitely call it to the attention of the lab, let them know what kinds of numbers this field has shown in the past. I had a situation this fall, where I got results back, and 1 field looked bizarre. I mean really bizarre. pH looked okay, but the rest did not. I e-mailed the lab manager, called attention to the sample in question. The lab manager took one look at the results and said "that looks like it got doube-diluted." And the lab ran it again - no charge. Apparently, labs can make mistakes too. After all, those labs are run by humans. :) I would contact the lab with your concern, and see if they would run it again. At least the pH, if the rest looks reasonable. |
