I still don't understand the whole debate. I've said it before.
#1 Is it a "voluntary tax" that hardly anybody pays anyway?
#2 Or is it a huge revenue source we must keep and expand?
It can't be both.
It is #3 It is nothing more than a political football. The democrats want to use it for class warfare, republicans want to use it for political suicide.
