South Central MN
$10-25 depending on hours and your needs. Is this someone that comes and goes and does as they want(examples doing tillage, repairs that whenever project, and the not pressing projects but ones need to get done that season) or vital role to night and weekend harvesting/planting and is there when you want/need (keeping ground worked right ahead of planter, grain cart or combine driver, tender driver/CDL, staying late and helping you repair a major breakdown for tomorrow).
Some people just want to get out of the house and do not ask for a lot of pay if you offer great flexibility. People that come and goes as they please get paid far less than the guy that shows up early when you start and stays late to keep things timely when it counts.
How many part time hours and is CASH Cash an option? I have taken pay from a few farmers in form of Gift Cards from retail stores and gas stations on smaller jobs. It helps the farm write off the expense without the hassle of withholding's and keeps everyone happy. No 1099 or W-2 to mess with. Doesn't work for everyone but, another tool in the tool box for the accountant.

ask a good account "whats 2+2?"
