Subject: Re: Net wrap on a hay processor

Bainville, MT
I build a feed bunk fence for calves about 3 weeks ago. Everyday since I drive by with the hay processor. (Hiline 7000) and process a bale along the length of the feed bunk fence. Then about an 1 . 5 hours later I go back with my pitchfork and fork the hay up closer to the fence they seem to push it away when eating. I have never taken the net off. I am suprised by the amount of net that I do not see. Twice now I have found net wrap. about 6 inches long. I looked real close the first 3 or 4 days as these are replacement hiefers and didn't want to kill them right off the bat. I would guess 99 percent of net is still on rotor.
