We used to turn 4840s up to wicked to pull a 10C-14C train. No idea what they'd dyno, but with a loaded front scraper, they'd carry the front wheels 2' off the ground while spilling the 14 on the back over. That wasn't SOP by no means, but they were capable and we never broke one.
