Subject: RE: barley?

Barley is used a lot in rations for cattle and pigs. It is not as high in energy than wheat but good barley nearly is and has adequate fibre as well. It is high in lysine which helps animals convert and some other goodies. Stay clear of barley discounted because it is low in test weight and weather damaged grain as well. They can be a waste of money.
