sounds like a left-sided displaced abomasum. She will continue to lose weight and eventually die if left untreated. Treatment is surgery.

If it's not that, it could just be indigestion, in which case she needs a half-dozen pink indigestion pills (laxcid) and some d-panthenol. A bottle of gluco-amino may also help.

If it was a right-sided DA, she'd be dead by now. You get about 12 hours to diagnose and fix a right twist.

Can you get a temp?

Do you have keto-stix or keto powder to check for ketosis? Probably not since you're not a dairy guy.

In any case, after calving in July and not milking now for more than 4 days, she likely will not return to milk unless treated tomorrow and even then, she may still not.
