I just installed an FM-750 in a spreader truck. I used a 12 pin Deutsche socket. I found links online telling you have to connect the 10 pin to the 11 pin to activate the mapping.

I went into the menu under coverage logging and chose switched. I also found a Trimble part # for a switch with a plug. ZTN60477S. I see that Case dealers stock these but can't find price or availability on the weekend.

I connected the 11 pin the the 10 pin to an on and off toggle switch. It will not activate the coverage mapping, but the touch screen on and off still works in "coverage switched" mode.

Even though I purchased my FM-750 more recently, I see it is version 1.00.048.4

This all seems to work as expected after updating to firmware V 1.05.

I called my Trimble Dealer today... he said I can actually go to the Trimble web site now to get firmware update files. The oldest Firmware upgrade that Trimble has on their web site is version 1.92

Some one on here said you have to install a version 1.7 before you can install version 2.0

My Dealer had in stack a ZTN60477S. It won't work as an in cab mapping on and off switch.. It has like a 5" long pin for implament activation then it goes to a 3 pin weatherhead plus witch won't plug into the A port of an FM 750 witch is a 12 PIN Deutsch plug. An extra Deutsch plug came with my $130.00 Trimble Cable that I bought from an AG dealer to run a second party computer. It Y's to a serial port plug.
Here is a Crimper for $25.00 http://www.delcity.net/store/OEM-Type-24!14-Ga-Crimping-Tool/p_8012...

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-900420 Kit with out crimper, but this is for DT series 13 amp where Trimble uses DM 7.5 amp a lighter gauge.. It's just handy to have some of them around the shop.
