Flew F4D's Spain/Turkey/ Florida in late 70's, early eighties. F106's and F16's in Montana ANG. Retired in 1996.

How neat! Our Guard unit was to get F4's when they were phasing out the RB57's in 1972 but that didn't happen,.............sent us fifteen B57G's out of McDill AFB in Florida............they had just came back from Vietnam. I didn't get to work on them as I was getting out at that time.

Was the F4's a real rush? Always wanted to ride in one of them but it never happened. Collins aircraft has an operational F4 but you need 2 days of schooling and if I remember right, $8k to go for a ride!

I suppose the F16 was your favorite to fly as I'm guessing it was the fastest of the bunch.....d:>)
