| Hi Kevin,
I added my contact info to my profile.
I was was 32 when I was diagnosed, and turned 33 just after i finished chemo. I had been aware of testicular cancer prior to diagnosis. Mostly just a superficial knowledge - Lance Armastrong, most common form of cancer for young men etc.. Honestly, I think there is a barrier that many men have with dealing with medical things. I think it is more of a psychology then an education issue.
By default my wife wants to see the doctor/nurse for every single thing whereas I tend to have more of a "leave it alone, its probably nothing" attitude. For most things this is probably fine, but not Testicular Cancer. Ive been following news stories related to TC, and you regularly see reports of people dying from it because it the cancer has spread to the lungs/brain before being diagnosed and starting treatment.
