Just because everyone else will bend over for them doesn't mean I will too. The cost to develop that software on the little disk is way more than the cost of the combine that you have that plastic in. When you consider the size of the market for that software, I would say that the fact that you can buy it for $600 is AMAZING. When you look at what the return from that $600 investment can be, I hardly call that "bending over". I have some background in software development. For a specialty market such as the precision ag field is, software prices are very reasonable. |
