South East South Dakota/winters Tucson, AZ | Its a long story. Sheep industry is set to end in the US as i see it.. I saw New Zealand lamb at sams club wednesday and leg of lamb was $5.98/lb, rack of lamb $9.95/lb and loin chops $7.95. I can't raise lamb for those prices. I direct sell 500 lambs a year to grocery stores, restaurants, and direct to consumers and my prices are alot higher than that.
