Here is an example of grain marketing by others.
I was at a Cargill meeting and they were showing the average price farmers received for their grain year by year over the past 5 years. Farmers were way short of the top price of the year. Only a few percentage of the farmers were in the top percentage of the price for any given year. As this was a Cargill meeting they showed how their marketing plans preformed. Some were worse, but several were better than what the farmer average was for those 5 years. Not a great deal better, but better. |
