You should tighten them up, back them off a 1 full turn and then tighten 1/2 to 2/3 of a turn. Making the final adjustment 1/2 to 1/3 of the backed off point. I could explain why this is done, but don't feel like wasting my energy or arguing. JD is right when all is said and done, the length of the stroke is rule.
