| Actually I have seen several studies where prayer did help with sickness. Also remember that God many times works through his people. When a group puts out a prayer request it is asking God to help as he sees fit. If you put out a request to 200 people you are pretty apt to find some one who can help.
As far as the swearing I understand that using Gods name in vain is a sin but I have never seen where most other swear words are a sin. I don't think it does any good to swear.
One fellow was always noted for being able to handle anything bad that came up. He actually wasn't any better than any one else, he just acted like it was no big deal and took action on it. | |
