What is so poor about the support on Tru Counts? There shouldn't need to be any support if they are taken care of properly which is blowing the dirt out once a year and lubing with silicone spray. Have a pile of planters running Field-IQ with Tru Counts and also running the Case IH Accurow. The only problems have been when someone uses a lube that is not recommended i.e. WD-40 and doesn't ever blow them out. Make no mistake, the Surestops do get dirt in them, but is there anyway to get it out? NO. You also have an extra chain to worry about with the Surestops. I have put on both TC shaft and meter mount clutches and they all work very well. Have one customer with the very early Tru Counts for a Kinze that have planted around 20,000 acres and they all still work great. We did however take all 24 off and completely clean them after another dealer told them to use WD-40 to lube them and gummed them all up.

Use whatever clutch you feel is best for your situation.

I have no problem with the clutches as long as the proper maintenance that you spelled out is done.

I have a problem with the way Trimble chooses to support their products. They do not (in my opinion) offer good customer service. That is what I was eluding to. Not the product itself.
