NW Central Ohio | ...huh? we used to apply anhydrous with a chisel plow, putting it down about 9 inches. Didn't pay any attention to what direction we traveled...just got it on and waited about 3 days for the moisture in the soil to completely absorb the nitrogen. Once it's absorbed you're not going to burn anything, and Ontario doesn't have such dry soils that it won't be absorbed by the soil moisture. You're not going to have any trouble with a 30" applicator and waiting 3 days to till and plant. | |
