beans are bred as non gmo beans, first for their yeild. Then if they are top yeilders, the rr gene is inserted. All RR beans start their life as non gmo. Therefore, there is all kinds of research done on non gmo beans, but very few are brought to the marketplace as non gmo's. that probably is not very clear
