| with todays feed costs you have to have an edge someplace,an ace in the hole.
Investigate what YOU might be able to feed that no one else or few do that would improve margins.
For instance some have access to paunch dumped from packing plants,,,some soy hulls,,,beet pulp,,canning waste,,,peanut bys,,,cotton byproducts,,,even cornstalks and distillers is useful. Hay and corn everyone has or has access to. Even corn syrup and other possible avenues should at least be considered. | |
