Thanks for the replies . The blood weeds are over 12 feet tall on at least 120 ac. I dont know of any vts around . If i disced I would only run about 2 inches just enough to cut those long stalks. I will take some pictures when i go shred to show a before and after. We also have wild hogs that have rooted alot. In those areas you cant shred over 3 to 4 mph. My planter has Dawn ctines> All I see is those long stalks locking down the wheels and draging. I might can get a stalk chopper but it would only cut on 30 in rows. If i ran it twice to smooth it would it be as bad as the disc?
