Subject: RE: Property posting etiquette

Frytown, Iowa

kind of hard to understand just exactly what you want... your fine with hunting (even on your property?) just as long as there are no bullets heading towards your house??

if your neighbor is a bow hunter tell him he can bow hunt back there all he wants... but no guns.. bout guarantee he will make sure there are no others on your property during gun season... land that doesnt get pushed in gun season is the best late bow hunting a guy can get...

or sometimes the best defense towards having lots of bad hunters on your ground hunting and shooting towards the house is 1 good hunter who knows your property and takes pride in what he has to hunt... he will keep everyone else off.. tell him that he can set up 1 or 2 stands for gun but can only shoot away from the house... the better he knows your property the better he can hunt it safely and sit in an area where nobody can walk through without him seeing tresspassers..

a few years of this and the locals will know they cant go in there...

kind of like fathering a very pretty daugher... you dont want any guys around her but sometimes its best to find the BEST guy for her to be around so that you keep away all the other duds in the local...
