Little River, TX

Wes, if ever down this way, you will want to experience Wes's Burger Shack in Scenic Down Town Temple Texas. I may have exaggerated the scenic part.

Raising hay I have noticed that fertilizers are more NEEDED during dry weather than "Normal" WX conditions.

When done reasonably well it is possible to have a ton of hay for 3 inches of rain, rather than the more "normal" 9 to 12 inches of rain.
This is also the published opinion by our learned academic friends.
May require 800 lbs/Acre of nitrogen to accomplish this trick but I have realized a ton of hay for close to 3" of useable rain with less fertilizer. occasionally.
