Tennessee | I believe there are advantages to 30" corn if you are going to push populations higher than 28k, but if you don't plant very much corn, your equipment cost might wash out the benefit. Wide row corn left my area about 12 years ago, but I feel the main reason people switched was because good used equipment out of the north on 30's was more available than 36's. | |
