I might be careful about writing on the back with ink and such. Definatly put some history of it with it, in a frame, cheap or otherwise.
We need to write on our pictures because our grandkids don't know half of these people, the same with us and our grandparents. Special pens work and are not supposed to spoil them. Oh yea, everything is on a flash drive now!
