Subject: RE: cleaning out slurrystore pics

S.C. Wisconsin
Last year I posted pictures of or farm cleaning our slurrystore out. Did the same thing again this year. We have a lot of solids as we bed our cows with sand and don't have a separator besides a pit that traps some sand before we pump over to the slurrystore. We do the same thing as behog, taking out a couple of sheets and load out with 2 good sized skidloaders. I was told that a custom slurry hauler in our area has an agitator that's on the order of a pontoon boat that really does a great jobs of stirring up solids to the point where it's not necessary to open the slurry up. We would have to get a crane to put it in. I plan on checking this out and will post about this if it works out. We have to clean our every year and I am looking for some alternatives.
