west central iowa | I'm seeing a pattern in your responses. It looks like draxin is what's working for you guys right away when they get here. I also use grass hay in bale rings at first and grass hay in the complete ration in the bunks. I also agree with the lick stress tubs. It seems to be helping. I would also like to say, that 1 month ago i got in 302 head of pure breed red angus cattle of the ranch from montana. Two different ranches and owners. They went into 2 pens. They weighed 490 lbs. here at the yard and costed $100 per head more then the Iowa sale barn cattle. However, I never treated a one head. Now they are in one big pen all together eating 25 lbs./head and not looking back. It's great!!! So it looks like I just have too spend the extra money on the medicine instead. | |
