Minneota, MN | I've had Win 8 for several weeks now and it just took a few days of getting used to where everything is at. Boots extremely fast and is a rock solid OS so far. Not so sure if it added much to my computing experience over Win 7, but for $40 it wasn't a big investment to keep current.
I can see where the start screen and that functionality would be good for a tablet or touch screen PC.
The one thing I'm not so fond of is how washed out the borders and scroll bars are in open windows. Sometimes makes it hard to know where the window scroll position is at. | |
