I think it is a Pierburg crab and boy is it expensive. I think the carb will go wide open if the gov is not turning. I second the short belt idea. You will like the Weber. I machined out an adaptor and put one on the original manifold, and it is a great improvement.
Does anyone have experience with spreading a 230 out to 120"?
