Many years my partner is the current manager of the local coop. he has done it for them and has for quit some time. he is tired of them not allowing him to use the program for all it can do because it will save the farmer on fertilizer. this very well could be happening were you guys are from and have no idea. my question was not if i had the experience or the funds. it was would you farmers take advatage of this or be satisfied were you were at. this program saved us $50 an acre on our farm this year but i had to buy the equipment because the local coop would allow my partner to do what we really needed.
If you are using crop removal off yeild maps there is no way in hell it will reduce fertilizer usage on 90% of farms. If you are saving $50 an acre you were wayyyyyy over applying before or your program is bad agronomy.
