NE SD | Pilot controls are hydraulic over hydraulic, not electric over hydraulic. Think like a quarter inch line valve on the control that sends oil to a big valve for a 1/2"+ line that actually feeds the cylinders. It takes much less effort to run the valve with the smaller lines, but you have better feel than electric over hydraulic.
We have a Mustang (Gehl) and it has foot controls for the boom and bucket. I like them fine, but I hate the T-bar directional control as it is a pain to get in and out, especially in bulky winter clothing, and moving that bar roughly 12" from full forward to full reverse gets old.
