Subject: Re: Variable rate corn planting ???

NE / NC INDIANA
My new planter was delivered not long ago and i will not be using variable rate. Had it on the last planter but could not see any yeild response in attempting to vary populations based on soil type and yeild maps. We've decided that today hybrids have must have an amazing ability to adjust and flex. Until there is more research and refining of variable rate corn populations it was an option on my last planter that proved by yeild checks to be a total waste of money.
