| Had a Polaris ranger 800 and now 900. Both are great machines. For all around utility, best on the market for a reason. They are the benchmark in the industry IMHO. I suspect the 800 will be discontinued next year. Forget the 800 and go the 900. No need to have 2 full size machines and the 900 is just improved. 900 is quieter, more powerful, stronger cab and the suspension has zerks and no more squeaks. 900 has 1" more clearance. Capable of just over 60 mph if you have farms miles apart. The more rearward placement of the motor also reduces the cab heat. Same motor as the RZR but motor detuned for 60 hp vs 88 hp of the RZR. Well proven and fantastic motor. The accessories for the 900 are top notch. Cab components are superior to anyone, including aftermarket.
Biggest problem with the 900 is limited quantity. Polaris was fooled by the large sales of the new model and hard to find. Accessories are also frequently on back order.
Lastly, the 900 comes in sunset red!
