WC Ohio | I will be making the move from a JD 6620 to an Axial Flow before next fall. I have been doing lots of research on-line and asking lots of questions to all of my red combine neighbors but I still have questions.
What wear parts will typically need replaced on an '05-'06 2377 or 2388 with 1000-1200 (corn/soybeans) separator hours? I am finding quite a few machines in this hour range, did the machines get traded because they will need major repairs in the next few hundred hours??
Should I not settle for anything other than an AFX rotor? I run a 50/50 mix of corn and soybeans.
Is a 30' 1020 head to large for a 2377 in 50-60bpa soybeans?
Is a 2388 too large for a 6 row corn head in 175-225 bpa corn?
Thanks for any input,
